Beginner Wheel:
Classes cover the basics of creating ceramic forms on the wheel and glazing techniques. No experience required. This can be an excellent option for those with previous experience to review basic skills. Classes per session - 7; $315 includes clay and glazes; one-time firing fee of four cents per cubic inch apply.
Wednesday Evenings from 7 pm to 10 pm.
Intermediate Wheel:
Classes continue to develop basic skills and introduce concepts that include shaping, sets, pouring vessels, lidded vessels and closed forms. Classes per session - 7; $315 includes clay and glazes; one-time firing fee of four cents per cubic inch apply.
Monday Evenings from 7 pm to 10 pm.
Advanced Wheel:
Sessions focus upon specific techniques and styles in ceramics history at the discretion of the instructor. Students are encouraged to explore their creative vision while improving their skill set. Thursday Evenings from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Wheel - All Levels:
This class is ideal for adults with busy schedules, or those who enjoy working with a wider perspective instead of a more traditional cohesive student body. The relaxed atmosphere also provides some one-on-one instruction. No experience required. Exploring Altered Forms:
Students will explore the possibilities and limits of altering cylinders, pinch pots or slabs into sculptural and/or functional pieces using either hand-built forms or wheel-thrown vessels. Design features can include stamping, coiling, darting and sprigging and other handbuilding techniques. Experience with handbuilding and/or wheel is required for this course. Handbuilding:
Basic techniques such as wedging, coils, slabs and extruded forms, along with an overview of ceramic materials, surface treatments and glazing will be presented. No experience required. Classes per session - 7; $315 includes clay and glazes; one-time firing fee of four cents per cubic inch apply.

Wheel and Handbuilding:
While this course is strongly focused on handbuilding, this course offers the option for two methods of construction by incorporating wheel thrown shapes and altering them with hand-building techniques. Experience in wheel and/or handbuilding is suggested. Classes per session - 7; $315 includes clay and glazes; one-time firing fee of four cents per cubic inch apply.
Wednesday Mornings from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Glaze Class:
Sessions are designed to demystify the use and application of glazes for intermediate level students, or improve the skill and repertoire of more advanced students. Bisqued tiles are provided for hands-on testing of glaze combinations, stains, oxides, slips, underglazes and sgraffito. Classes will run for two hours. Students are requested to maintain notes, as well as bring prepared bisqueware for glazing. Classes per session - 7; $200 includes all materials, including bisqued test tiles and firing of test tiles. If taken with another class save 50%.

Kids Handbuilding:
Classes are designed to provide children a creative outlet and opportunities to problem solve while developing fine motor and social skills. Class size is limited in order to encourage children to explore the creative process in a nurturing environment. Classes per session - 7; $210 includes all firing fees, clay and glazes.
Sundays between 10 a.m. to 11:15 p.m.
Sundays between 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Kids & Their Grown-ups:
Adult Guardians & Children from 5 - 13. This is an option designed to offer a child and a significant adult to share a creative experience by collaborating on selected projects by the use of various clay processes. No experience required. $25 per session for an adult and p to two children, includes clay and glazes. Call for reservation in advance.
Tweens and Teens Wheel Class:
Tweens and Teens can learn the basics of wheel throwing and fundamental glazing techniques. No previous experience required. Classes per session 7; $250 includes all firing fees, clay and glazes.
Sundays between 11:30 am to 12:45 pm.
Private Lessons:
Schedule a one-on-one or a small group for $45 per hour, per person. A $10 firing fee credit is included.
Policies:
If you register for two consecutive sessions (14 classes) you will be given 14 hours of free workshop time.
All missed classes can be made up in another class with prior notice and approval, or during workshop times (without instruction) within the current session. No carry overs, please. No refunds. Thank you.
Open workshop fees are $2 per hour for registered students. All others with experience pay $10 per hour and eight-cents a cubic inch in total for bisque and glaze firing.
